How do I place an order for my veil?

Ordering one of the veils in our collection is a very easy process.

First, select the veil of your choice, then select your options: veil colour, length, embellishments or other options. Veils have different options available.

Next click on “Add to cart” and proceed through the checkout. Then select Standard order or Rush order. You will need to provide your contact details and then make payment using one of the payment options.

If you have any specific requirements, please mention them in the “Order details” box when placing your order.

You will receive an email to confirm that we have received your order. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email to let you know that it’s on the way.

What is your time frame for delivery?

Most often, our veils are made to order. We offer several options for most of our veils, such as colour, fabric, length and embellishments.

We have stock of our most popular veils and many can be made on a short time frame (1-2 weeks).

For veils we have in stock, ready to ship, the delivery time frame is 3-7 business days. For made to order veils, the delivery time frame is anywhere from 1-4 weeks. Production time frame is noted for each veil.

If your wedding day is approaching and you need a veil in a hurry, we can do a rush order for you. Time frame for rush orders is around 7 days (within Australia) depending on the veil. Details are noted at the bottom of each veil page. When you’re in the checkout process, select “Rush order”. We have recently waived the rush order fee of $27.50.

Alternatively, you may choose from our Ready to Ship Veils, which we can normally send out within 1-2 business days.

We always take note of your wedding date, as per your order, to ensure that your veil is completed and delivered to you in time for your wedding.

For headpieces, we have some in stock and if that’s the case, will send out next business day. If the headpiece of your choice needs to be made to order, time frame is usually 3-4 weeks.

We will let you know when your veil has been shipped. Once an order is shipped, we cannot be held accountable for any delay in delivery that may occur. The tracking number can be provided to you if you need to track your parcel.

How will my veil be posted? How much is postage / shipping?

As soon as your order is completed, your veil will be carefully packaged in a box and sent to you. We use Australia Post for delivery.

We offer Free Shipping by standard parcel post within Australia (limited time offer).
If you prefer Express Post for faster shipping, you may select this in the checkout. Postage charges apply.

Do you ship overseas? (outside of Australia)

We currently ship within Australia and New Zealand only.

Can I see your veils or headpieces in person?

Yes absolutely! Our showroom is in Coomera Waters (Gold Coast). We are open by appointment only. You may bring your dress and try on veils to find the perfect match. Get in touch with us to book an appointment.

Are my personal details kept confidential?

You can absolutely be assured that your personal details will remain strictly confidential. The information you provide us with is used strictly for the purposes of completing your order.

Which payment methods do you accept?

The payment methods we accept are:

1. Credit Card – VISA, Mastercard & American Express: You can make payment with your credit card when placing your order online. We do not receive your credit card information, just an email stating that payment has been made. If you wish to pay for a custom order using your credit card, you will need to provide your details over the phone and we will process your payment.

2. Bank Transfer: To pay by Bank Transfer, please make your payment using our banking details which are listed at the bottom of your order confirmation email. For custom orders, we will email an invoice to you with our banking details.

Can I have fabric swatches to compare to my dress?

Yes of course! We are happy to send you fabric swatches so that you can make an informed decision. Order them here: sample swatches

Do your veils have a comb at the top?

Yes, most of our veils come with a comb which is sewn at the top of the veil, for easy placement in your hair. Some veils have a clear comb, some have a metal comb. It varies by the style. We have a few veils (the minimal, sheer styles) which have the option of metal comb or metal hair pin for attachment.

Alternatively you may choose to have loops at the top of your veil, which your hairdresser will use with hairpins to secure the veil into your hair. If you prefer loops at the top, please mention it in the “Order details” box when placing your order.

How do I position the veil in my hair?

The majority of our veils come with the comb, which is sewn at the top of the veil, pointing upwards. The correct way to position it into your hair is to hold the veil against your back, then turn the comb downwards and tuck it into your hair. The fabric should come up and over the top of the comb, giving you a beautiful look when the veil is in your hair. For more details and photos, see Correct positioning of veils.

My veil has some small creases or static in it. How do I remove them?

When you receive your veil, there may be some small creases and / or static, which have formed during transit. We suggest ordering your veil well in advance of your wedding, to allow the creases / static to naturally drop out. You should hang your veil as soon as you receive it, rather than leaving it in the box. There are more suggestions for veil care and crease removal on the Veil Details page.
