Are my personal details kept confidential?
Please be assured that your personal details will remain strictly confidential. The information you provide us with is used strictly for the purposes of completing your order.
Which payment methods do you accept?
The payment methods we accept are:
1. Credit Card – VISA, Mastercard & American Express: You can make payment with your credit card when placing your order online. We use the E-Way payment gateway, which is safe and secure. We do not receive your credit card information, just an email stating that payment has been made. If you wish to pay for a custom order using your credit card, you will need to provide your details over the phone and we will process your payment.
2. Bank Transfer: To pay by Bank Transfer, please make your payment using our banking details which are listed at the bottom of your order confirmation email. For custom orders, we will email an invoice to you with our banking details.
Are your veils Australian made?
Yes! We source all of our beautiful fabrics, laces, trims and embellishments from reputable suppliers around the world, and then using these, we design and make our veils in our workroom, which is located in Melbourne.
What are the differences between your different veil fabrics?
Bridal tulle is our standard tulle, which is the default fabric for most of our veils. This tulle has medium softness and is most suitable for veils with more volume or fullness, as it holds the fuller shape well. It’s a sheer, lightweight tulle.
Supersoft tulle is very similar to Silk tulle, but is not made from silk. It is a lovely fabric and has the same graceful flow to it as Silk tulle.
Glamour tulle is similar to Supersoft tulle, which is very soft and flowy, but with a lovely shimmer through it. It is a lovely flowy and sheer fabric.
Supersoft tulle and Glamour tulle are narrow fabrics, thus veils made in these fabrics are quite slim and narrow.
Can I have fabric swatches to compare to my dress?
Yes of course, we are happy to send you fabric swatches so that you can make an informed decision. Please email your request and advise the colour of your dress, the fabrics you are interested in, and your address, and we will post them to you at no charge. Do your veils have a comb at the top?
Yes, all of our veils come with a clear comb which is sewn at the top of the veil, for easy placement in your hair.
Alternatively you may choose to have loops at the top of your veil, which your hairdresser would use with hairpins to secure the veil into your hair. If you prefer loops at the top, please mention it in the “Order details” box when placing your order.
How do I position the veil in my hair?
The majority of our veils come with the comb, which is sewn at the top of the veil, pointing upwards. The correct way to position it into your hair is to hold the veil against your back, then turn the comb downwards and tuck it into your hair. The fabric should come up and over the top of the comb, giving you a beautiful look when the veil is in your hair. For more details and photos, see Correct positioning of veils.
My veil has some small creases or static in it. How do I remove them?
When you receive your veil, there may be some small creases and / or static, which have formed during transit. We suggest ordering your veil well in advance of your wedding, to allow the creases / static to naturally drop out. You should hang your veil as soon as you receive it, rather than leaving it in the box. There are more suggestions for veil care and crease removal on the Veil Details page.
